Every year as many as 2 million Dutch people go on vacation to Spain.

The Spanish Tourist Board, officially the Spanish Office for Foreigners and part of Turespaña, provides marketing tools and tourist information to support tourism professionals in their promotional and marketing activities abroad.

The public information office needs a renovation and new fresh ‘Spanish’ look. Services are becoming increasingly digital and the function of place where information and leaflets were collected changes into a place to meet and learn.

The ground floor will have a completely new look. The entrance will be designated information room, with reception, info boards, a digital map and library (books and collected objects). Behind it, will be a meeting room, which can be used or rented out. The long corridor will be used to represent the history of the Tourist Office. The garden gets redecorated and together with the new kitchen, will become a place to meet people, to relax and to follow courses.

The first floor is still in good condition. It will become more spacious and transparent with minor interventions. This is where the office spaces will be located.
